Uralla Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified contractors to join a 3-year open panel for the provision of allied health services across our service areas for our in home aged care services.
This panel will support the delivery of high-quality allied health services to our clients and facilities, ensuring safety, reliability, and value for money.
What are Allied Health Services?
Allied health services include, but are not limited to:
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Podiatry
- Dietetics and Nutrition
- Exercise Physiology
- Speech Pathology
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Counselling
- Music Therapy
- Allied Health Therapy Assistance
Mandatory Requirements
Contractors must demonstrate compliance with the following:
- Current Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million).
- Current Workers Compensation Insurance (unless sole trader – then provide copy of Personal Accident Insurance).
- Police Checks for all staff (dated within the last 3 years).
- Not listed on the Aged Care Quality Safety Commission Register of Banning Orders.
- Not listed on the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Compliance and Enforcement Actions Register
- Current APHRA or relevant board registration.
Optional Criteria
- Current NDIS Worker Check (mandatory for NDIS services).
