Essential water infrastructure renewal works are currently underway in the Bridge Street area. These works include the replacement of sections of water main and associated footpath, kerb and gutter infrastructure.
Planned Water Outage
From: 10:30pm, Friday 14 August
To: 6:00am, Saturday 15 August
A second shutdown may be required on the Sunday, depending on how work progresses.
Affected areas:
• Bridge Street (between King Street and Hill Street)
• Hill Street (between Bridge Street and Queen Street)
• Queen Street (between Hill Street and King Street)
• King Street (between Bridge Street and Queen Street)
Affected businesses have been notified.
Following restoration of supply, some residents may notice discoloured water. If this occurs, please run a cold water tap for several minutes until the water clears. If discolouration persists, visit Council's website and check Public Notices for further information.
