A major water pipe break in the vicinity of Dumaresq Street and the New England Highway, Uralla, has been repaired and water services restored to all residents.
The highway remains closed in both directions today while repairs are underway and Transport for NSW is helping to control and divert traffic. We apologise to residents who have trucks driving down their street.
A temporary fix to the road should be completed today, so that Transport for NSW can complete a permanent repair as soon as possible.
