Application for Private Works

A council may, by agreement with the owner or occupier of any private land, carry out on the land any kind of work that may lawfully be carried out on the land. Note : Examples of the kind of work that a council might carry out under this section include: paving, road making, kerbing & guttering, fencing, ditching, tree planting, tree maintenance, demolition, excavation, land clearing etc.

Application is hereby made for the Uralla Shire Council to carry out on my behlaf, the works and/or services descrived below. I/We Hereby UNDERTAKE to pay on demand to the Uralla Shire Council all costs incurred by the Council in connection with this application.

I/We understand that where Council plant is hired to me/us on a comprehensive basis at hourly hire rates, the agreement is that the work will be carried out to my/our specification and that the Council will not be resposible for the design and specification of the work. It is also understood the the final payments will be made on the basis of actual hours worked to complete the job.
