Public Notice: Impact of Cold Weather on Bundarra Sewer Treatment Plan

With the recent colder temperatures, the Bundarra Sewer Treatment Plant’s aeration ponds have been affected by decreased biological activity. We are actively implementing measures to address this, including the addition of bio additives and recirculation of the affected pond. We anticipate improvements in the short term.

Additionally, Council is collaborating with the NSW Government to seek technical advice helping us enhance the future performance of the Bundarra Sewer Treatment Plant.

Please remember that dumping septic tank waste at the Ezy Dumping station or flushing inappropriate chemicals, oils, and grease into the sewer system is not permitted.
