Uralla Shire Council gives notice that it has fixed a date for the meeting at which it will present its audited financial reports, together with the auditor’s reports to the public, being 26 November 2024.
This notice includes a summary of Council’s financial reports(PDF, 141KB).
In accordance with section 420 of the Local Government Act 1993, any person may make submissions to Council with respect to Council’s audited financial reports or with respect to the Auditor’s reports.
Copies of Council’s audited financial reports, together with the Auditor’s reports will be kept available at Council’s office at its customer service counter at 32 Salisbury Street, Uralla, NSW for inspection by members of the public from 19 November 2024 until 27 November 2024.
The final date for any person to make a submission to Council is 4 December 2024.

Council is committed to openness and transparency in its decision-making processes. The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 requires Council to provide public access to information held unless there are overriding public interest considerations against disclosure. Any submissions received will be made publicly available unless the writer can demonstrate that the release of part or all of the information would not be in the public interest. However, Council would be obliged to release information as required by court order or other specific law.
