GENERAL WASTE AND RECYCLING

• Bundarra: General waste and recycling collection in Bundarra has been delayed today. Residents are asked to leave their bins kerbside, and they will be collected as soon as possible.
• Uralla: Due to the delays in Bundarra, Uralla residents may experience a slight delay to general waste and recycling collection tomorrow (Wednesday 6 August). Please leave bins kerbside until collected. While the impact is expected to be minimal, collection times may be later than usual.
• Additional Collection (Shire wide): An extra general waste collection service will operate this Friday (8th August) across the entire Shire to help manage spoiled food waste due to extended power outages. Residents are encouraged to place red bins back at kerbside for this service.

• Uralla Tip is now open for domestic household waste disposal as usual.
• Residential green waste is not being accepted at the landfill currently, as the site is too boggy for non-commercial vehicles.
• Commercial green waste is still being accepted.

• Uralla Township: Small amounts of storm-damaged residential green waste (e.g. smaller branches, shrubs) may be placed neatly on the road verge for collection. Please ensure this does not obstruct footpaths or road edges.
• Invergowrie: Residents can leave storm-damaged green waste at Stockyard Corner on Pine Grove Road.
• Bundarra: Tip open as normal, no charge for green waste
• Larger residential loads (Shire wide): e.g. trailer loads, large branches, tree limbs can be taken to the Uralla Sports Complex between 7am and 4pm.
• There is no charge for residential storm-damage green waste disposal.
• Commercial operators must continue to dispose of green waste via the Uralla Landfill Facility, where normal fees apply.
