Australia Day is a wonderful time for the whole community to come together to celebrate our good fortune living in Uralla Shire, acknowledge outstanding contributors to our community and to welcome our new Australian Citizens. The amazing group of volunteers that make up our Australia Day Committee are responsible for the Australia Day Awards Ceremony and festivities. The Committee is looking for new volunteers to join their team to help with ideas and the planning in running of this wonderful event.
Your time put into this committee is minimal as we only meet about 5 times a year from October 2025 through to January 2026. Meetings are held in our Council Chambers after 5pm to allow for working people to join in.
