National Water Week Brings Water Q&A to Uralla
Published on 02 October 2025
Council is proud to participate in National Water Week 2025, an annual initiative that shines a spotlight on the value of water in our lives and the importance of sustainable water management. Held from 20–26 October, National Water Week encourages individuals, schools, businesses, and communities across Australia to work together to protect our most precious resource. Access to clean, reliable water is essential for healthy communities, thriving ecosystems, and economic resilience. To mark the occasion, Council invites the community to a Water Q&A Event on:
Thursday, 23 October 2025
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Uralla Court House
Senior staff from the Council’s Infrastructure and Development Department will form a panel to answer your questions about the ongoing work to maintain and improve water security across the Shire. The event will be hosted by ZNET, and light refreshments will be served. Please note that seating is limited, so early arrival is recommended.
In addition, Uralla Library will host a special water-themed Storytime session for young readers, making this a week for the whole community to learn and engage.
