We are pleased to hear the National Australia Bank’s announcement that with the re-opening of the Uralla branch, they will resume the same trading days as before the COVID shutdown implemented last March.

Continuing access to the services provided by our local banks is of utmost importance to our local businesses and residents alike, and a cornerstone which supports our local economy. 

Council has received advice from the NAB that the Uralla branch trading hours will be 9.30am – 12.30pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Council is also grateful to the flexibility provided by the Regional Australia Bank’s Uralla branch trading hours of 10.00am – 3.00pm Mondays through Thursdays, and 9.00am – 5.00pm on Fridays.

Both banks offer a number of online and telephone services, and Council recommends residents to get in touch with their providers to see what additional services they might be able to utilise.

It is essential for our local economy that rural and regional customers have access to the same services as our urban counterparts. Council will continue to advocate through our State and Federal members to achieve the equity of services provided to the Uralla Shire community.
