Civil Infrastructure Works for the week ending 28 January 2022

  • Completed backfilling approach slabs on Tolleys Gully Construction (see photo)
  • Completed grading soft spots and graveling  on Barraba Road
  • Commenced grading Baldersleigh Road
  • Continue cleaning up after the storm last week
  • Continued tar patching on Kingstown Road
  • Continued tar patching on Arding Road
  • Continued slashing and mowing in Uralla and Bundarra
  • Completed  grading Balala Road using contractor
  • Continued grading Retreat Road
  • Completed sign maintenance on Thunderbolts Way Central
  • Gravel patched and cleaned out drains on Green Gully Road

Works scheduled next week, commencing 31 January 2022

  • Continue Tolleys Gully construction and restart Sub Base on approaches
  • Complete grading and gravel resheeting Glenroy Road
  • Complete grading Brechts Road
  • Commence grading and gravel resheeting Martins Lane and Haynes Lane
  • Continue grading Baldersleigh Road
  • Commence slashing on regional and rural roads
  • Continue tar patching on regional and rural roads
  • Continue drainage maintenance in Uralla and on rural roads
  • Continue  mowing and weed spraying in Uralla and Bundarra
  • Continue cleaning up trees on rural roads after the storm
