A major pipe break in the vicinity of Dumaresq Street and the New England Highway has been repaired and water services restored to all residents. The highway remained closed in both directions on Thursday 23 April while repairs were underway and Transport for NSW was helping to control and divert traffic. We apologise to residents who had trucks driving down their street. A temporary fix to the road should be completed soon, so that Transport for NSW can complete a permanent repair as soon as possible. Our water team and contractors have done a tremendous job in getting this situation under control and thank you to residents for your patience and understanding.
